Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist to join a fast-paced cardiology team in Falmouth, MA. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality echocardiography studies and support cardiologists in diagnostic procedures while delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiography procedures including 2D, M-Mode, Pulse/Continuous Wave, and Color Doppler
- Obtain patient history and prepare patients for procedures
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Provide preliminary findings when appropriate
- Assist physicians during advanced procedures, including transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Perform emergency and stat studies as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and echo lab documentation
- Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and stocking of equipment
- Adhere to ICAEL standards and departmental protocols
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and reporting
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse patient populations
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification required
- Minimum 1–2 years of echocardiography experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- All certifications must be active and in good standing
