The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment & Training Specialist to support our growing civil construction operations. This role is critical in attracting skilled trades, field crews, and project staff while ensuring all employees are properly trained, compliant, and job-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for civil construction roles including operators, laborers, supervisors, engineers, and project staff.
• Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to forecast workforce needs.
• Coordinate onboarding, site inductions, and compliance documentation.
• Develop and deliver training programs covering safety, skills development, and company procedures.
• Maintain training records, licenses, competencies, and certifications.
• Support safety and compliance training in line with industry and regulatory standards
• Assist with apprenticeship, upskilling, and workforce development initiatives.

About You

• Previous experience in recruitment and training within civil construction or related trades
• Strong understanding of site-based workforce requirements and safety standards
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both site and office teams.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Experience with HR, recruitment, or training systems is an advantage.
• Bilingual preferred
