We are currently seeking a motivated and eager Plumbing Apprentice to join our team and kickstart their career in the plumbing industry.
Job Summary:
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers to learn the fundamentals of plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the trade and eager to develop their skills in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend plumbing apprenticeship school for four years.
- Assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Support with the diagnosis and troubleshooting of plumbing issues.
- Participate in the installation of water, drainage, and heating systems.
- Help maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
- Participate in training sessions and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Assist in customer service and communication, addressing client questions or concerns under supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; GED preferred.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in plumbing.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and tools is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
