Member Advocate - Remote (San Antonio Residents Only)
Pay: $17/hour | Schedule: Open Availability Required
Schedule: Monday - Friday - 6 am to 7 pm CST or 8 am- 5 pm
We are seeking a dedicated Member Advocate to join our remote Texas-based team. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between members, healthcare providers, and community resources, ensuring timely access to quality care. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for members, advocacy groups, and providers.
- Assist members in finding primary care providers, specialists, and community resources.
- Investigate and resolve complaints, grievances, and access-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and confidential member records in compliance with HIPAA.
- Participate in community outreach and member education efforts.
Qualifications Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years' customer service experience in a healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Open availability, including potential weekend coverage.
Preferred:
- Medicare and/or Medicaid experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
