Member Advocate - Remote (San Antonio Residents Only)

Pay: $17/hour | Schedule: Open Availability Required

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 6 am to 7 pm CST or 8 am- 5 pm

We are seeking a dedicated Member Advocate to join our remote Texas-based team. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between members, healthcare providers, and community resources, ensuring timely access to quality care. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for members, advocacy groups, and providers.
  • Assist members in finding primary care providers, specialists, and community resources.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints, grievances, and access-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential member records in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Participate in community outreach and member education efforts.

Qualifications Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years' customer service experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Open availability, including potential weekend coverage.

Preferred:

  • Medicare and/or Medicaid experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
