Summary: Delivers food and beverage using catering delivery truck to catered functions. Prepares pack-out and delivers food at scheduled functions. Sets up and breaks down functions. Returns leftover food and equipment to the Catering Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely and punctually deliver catering orders to various event locations, ensuring the food arrives in pristine condition.
- Exhibit professionalism and excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
- Delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to the scheduled locations - breakfast, lunch & dinners
- Arranges tables and decorations.
- Sets buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards
- Pick-up -unserved foods and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the Catering Department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- A valid driver's license is required. Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by state law.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred.
- Ensure the physical stamina required for lifting and carrying heavy containers and equipment up to 50lbs
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with both internal and external employees/clients.
