Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid Colorado state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly valued
  • Understanding of IEP processes and special education documentation
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
  • Compassion, adaptability, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ functional abilities and needs within the school setting
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and progress updates
  • Deliver direct therapy services individually and in small groups
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Offer recommendations for modifications and adaptive equipment as necessary
  • Participate in staff training and provide guidance on strategies for student success
