Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated hard wording Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. Under the supervision of an experienced Carpenter, you will learn finish carpentry and home remodeling. You will assist in preparing job sites, handling materials, and operating tools while developing your skills towards becoming a finished carpenter.
Responsibilities
- Assist Carpenter: Support skilled carpenters in performing day to day duties
- Learning & Development: Actively engage in on-the-job training to acquire carpentry skills
- Material Handling: Load/unload materials, clean debris, and prepare sites for daily work.
- Tool Usage: Operate power/hand tools with safety and efficiency with training
- Tool Maintenance: Set up, clean, and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring a safe, organized workspace
- Quality Standards: Help maintain high standards of workmanship & follow company guidelines
Qualifications
- 0–3+ years remodeling experience
- High school diploma (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and procedures
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and climbing
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
Compensation
- $17–$23 per hour based on experience
