Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a full-time, 3-month contract position in Oroville, CA. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language support to students in an educational setting, helping them overcome communication challenges to achieve academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans
Location: Oroville, California
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student needs
- Provide therapy services that address articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication skills
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding special education services
