RQ Construction, LLC is seeking experienced Construction Quality Control Managers (CQCM) to join our Field Operations team. This role supports active construction projects on U.S. military installations, with a current assignment located in Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The CQCM position is fully on-site and may require relocation or travel depending on project needs, with preference given to candidates local to the project area.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing a project-specific quality control program in accordance with contract requirements. This involves managing quality processes, ensuring all documentation is completed on schedule, and building strong client relationships to drive successful project outcomes, all in line with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $90,000 - $125,000 annually
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K/Match, Vacation Pay, Sick Pay, Holiday Pay, Auto Allowance

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in the commercial construction industry (or equivalent), serving in roles such as Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer
  • At least 2 years of experience specifically as a Quality Control Manager
  • Current USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification required; familiarity with RMS/QCS systems preferred (training available)
  • Previous runway project experience is a plus
  • Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs highly desired
  • LEED Accredited Professional or Green Associate credential preferred
  • Required certifications include EM 385-1-1 (Level 1), CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 (training may be provided)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications required
  • Experience with project management software such as Viewpoint/Vista and RMS/QCS preferred
