Deliver bedside nursing: gentle restraint, vital checks, meds/injections, venipuncture and IV catheters, fluid setup, and clean, accurate charting.

Run diagnostics: obtain diagnostic-quality radiographs, collect and process samples, operate in-house analyzers, and assist with ECG/ultrasound workflows.

Anesthesia & surgery: prep patients and packs, induce and monitor anesthesia, maintain sterility, manage recovery, and note equipment issues.

ER/ICU & wards (if used): triage arrivals, monitor hospitalized patients and lines/tubes, respond during emergencies/CPR, and coordinate handoffs.

Client & hospital support: teach home-care/discharge plans, communicate clearly with clients and DVMs, and help with stocking, cleaning, and accurate charges.
Qualifications:

At least 1 year in a veterinary technician role preferred; CVT/LVT/RVT or NJ eligibility strongly preferred; ER/specialty background is a plus.

Skilled in venipuncture, IV placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiography, medical math, and electronic medical records.

Strong communicator and team player who stays organized under pressure and keeps a compassionate, educational approach with clients.

Physically able to lift ~50 lb and work on your feet; open to evenings/weekends/holidays as the hospital requires.
