Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) skilled in trauma and pediatric care for evening and night shifts at a prominent Level 3 Trauma Center. This contract opportunity involves working in a fast-paced, 31-bed emergency department equipped with 5 resuscitation bays and handling an average daily patient volume exceeding 100, with around 15% pediatric cases. The facility is recognized as a STEMI and Stroke receiving center, ensuring exposure to diverse and critical emergency scenarios.

Shift Details:
- Evening and Night shifts available
- 12-hour shifts with variable start times (1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 7:00 PM)
- Up to 36 hours of call-off coverage available during the assignment
Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with ER experience
- Current certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required; ENPC is preferred
- Strong background in trauma nursing
- Demonstrated expertise with pediatric patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients in a Level 3 Trauma Center setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for rapid assessment and intervention
- Manage patients in resuscitation bays and monitor critical cases
- Maintain documentation and compliance with facility protocols
This position is a contract role with specific start date requirements; submissions with start dates beyond two weeks from the requested date will not be considered. Orientation week hours are excluded from the guaranteed call-off hours.
