Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress.
  • Adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies to accommodate a range of learning abilities.
  • Monitor and document student performance and behavior.
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all special education policies and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students requiring special education services.
  • Ability to modify curriculum and instruction to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between school sites.
  • Patience, creativity, and a commitment to student success.

Location: Cloquet, MN, with travel to multiple school sites as required.
