We are a boutique public accounting firm with over 30 years experience. We serve domestic and international clients and offer services such as tax planning and preparation. Our staff is friendly, engaging, and respectful. We are looking for a dedicated staff member with exceptional communication and time management skills to prepare tax returns and support efficient operations.
Responsibilities:

Communicate with clients to coordinate tax filings

Utilize strong critical thing skills to support the application of accounting laws and principles

Proactively research technical tax issues

Prepare tax returns in compliance with strict standards

Enter bookkeeping transactions and adjusting entries

Provide information to clients and staff by answering questions and requests

Transmit client documents for review and signature

Track work processes

Prepare letters, emails and reports

Prepare documents for mailing to IRS and clients

Tax Sr. Associate Skills and Qualifications:

Understanding of accounting laws and principles
-
Proficiency with computers, tax, and bookkeeping software

Professional manner and strong ethical code.

Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.

Fluency in both English and Spanish a plus
Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting

Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint

Knowledge of UltraTax and PracticeCS preferred
