Hunt Electric, Inc.is seeking afull-time DAS Technician I to join our team within the distributed antenna system (DAS) department of Hunt Electrics Technology Division.
The DAS Technician I will be responsible for the construction of one or more simultaneous DAS projects. This position will report directly to the Project Foreman, area Foreman, or Construction Manager to produce on-time and within budget project delivery, while maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and craftsmanship. Project execution should be done within the confines of company goals and safety culture, contractual requirements, project budgets, and leadership vision in order to exceed client expectations.
Major Duties
- Read & understand project construction documents.
- Install cable supports and cable pathways.
- Install fiber-optic and coaxial cables.
- Test and terminate coaxial cables.
- Dress fiber and coaxial cables with neatness
- Install active DAS equipment and rooftop antennas.
- Ground rooftop equipment, cables, and active equipment.
- Assist with resource planning and material requisitions.
- Assist with risk and safety mitigation
- Utilize and secure construction technology tools, equipment, and material.
- Provide attention to detail and customer service.
- Activiely contribute to a positive team environment.
- Demonstrate dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
- Be a self starter.
- Occasional travel. ~25% or less
- Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in the DAS, wireless Cellular (tower) industry.
- Experience with WSP/Carrier base station installations
- Experience with communications site grounding
- Experience with Comm Room buildouts, Work Station and feed pair terminations.
- Experience with Anritsu, Kaelus, or Fluke test equipment both Fiber and Copper.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Great Customer service and communication skills.

WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am 4:30pm and Fridays 7:00am 2:00pm.
