Job Summary:

Requirements:
What We're Looking For:
- Knowledge or interest in seafood and fishing
- Experience in fishing or seafood handling is a bonus!
- A love for providing excellent customer service with a smile
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle seafood with care
- Availability for flexible hours during peak seasons and thrive under pressure and adapt to changing environments with ease.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Non-slip shoes are required for safety (not provided).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
Physical Requirements
- Demonstrate expertise in both gross and fine motor tasks, ensuring precision in handling knives, tools, and seafood with care
- Maintain strong peripheral vision and near/far visual accuracy to handle tasks safely and efficiently.
- Effectively hear and respond to instructions in a dynamic, bustling environment, ensuring smooth operations.
- Confidently handle and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. with focus and safety.
- Stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods, maintaining precision and attention to detail throughout your shift.
- Comfortable bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and moving fluidly in a fast-paced seafood department.
- Work comfortably in diverse temperature conditions—whether hot, humid, or cold—and tolerate moderate exposure to smoke, steam, dust, and cleaning agents.
- Able to handle various fresh seafood and ingredients without experiencing adverse allergic reactions.
- Confident in utilizing step-stools or ladders when necessary, and capable of reaching below the waist, at the waist, and overhead to access tools and supplies.
- Effectively communicate with team members, ensuring smooth, coordinated operations even in busy or noisy environments.
