Job Title: Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. This position offers two shifts: 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, and 2nd shift from 4pm to 2:30am.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various machines including horizontal mills, vertical mills, VTLs, lathes, manual mills, surface grinders, and EDMs.
- Perform basic inspections, load and unload parts and tooling.
- Read and interpret G and M Code proficiently.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure quality standards.
- Read, write, comprehend, and follow instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Perform calculations involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals and apply them to tasks.
- Compute rate, ratio, and percentage and interpret bar graphs.
- Operate and understand both SAE and Metric units of measure.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems with several variables.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of machining experience.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding G and M Code.
- Experience with FANUC controls and operating various machines such as horizontal mills, vertical mills, VTLs, lathes, manual mills, surface grinders, and EDMs.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Effective communication skills for internal and external interactions.
- Mathematical proficiency in calculating using various units of measure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to present information effectively in both one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to solve problems and apply logical reasoning to carry out instructions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $79040.00/yr.
