Job Title: Research Associate (Part time)

Grade: 16

Salary: $29.05-$34.60

The Research Foundation is seeking to hire a part-time (hourly-based) Research Associate who will be primarily responsible for assisting in the coordination of all research activities for various clinical trials within the division. Candidates must have background knowledge and clinical training in psychotherapy, along with research training in neurodegenerative diseases. Must be trained in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia using an 8-week standardized protocol.
  • Coordinating intervention sessions and related communications with study participants.
  • Reviewing sleep diaries and making intervention plans accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master of Science (MS) or Master of Arts (MA) in Psychology or related fields (e.g., Counseling, Social Work) and (1) year of experience working in clinical research.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training in clinical psychology or mental health counseling
  • Previous work experience with older adults
  • (5) years of research experience preferred
