Business Development Manager | Restoration Sales | Residential & Commercial | Houston, TX

This role is designed for a seasoned restoration sales professional with deep roots in the Houston market. If you are already the first call when a pipe bursts, a roof leaks, or a property takes on water, we offer the infrastructure and operational support to help you heavily monetize those relationships. You bring the network, we provide the operational support, national brand, and uncapped compensation structure to help you maximize its value.

We are a locally owned, nationally backed restoration startup franchise, with more than 150 other locations. Our focus is aggressive growth across Houston. We specialize in Water, mold, storm, fire, smoke, odor and Biohazard cleanup, mitigation and restoration.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow referral relationships

  • Generate residential and commercial restoration opportunities

  • Represent the company at networking events and partner meetings

  • Maintain CRM and sales pipeline

  • Developing our sales playbook: Document successful scripts, territory maps, and winning referral strategies into a repeatable playbook

  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that drive recurring job volume

  • Hiring, train, onboard, mentor future BDRs

EXPECTATIONS

Immediate Activation, Early traction: You are expected to generate early traction by leveraging your existing book of business—not months down the road. You're not "building" a network, you're activating one. You have an active, trusted relationships with plumbers, HVAC companies, property managers (residential and/or commercial), insurance adjusters, builders, maintenance supervisors, mold consultants, ..etc

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Must be local to the Houston market, and come with an existing book of business/referral network that you're able to activate from Day 1. They need to be seasoned in this industry with a large number of referral partners at their disposal, specifically: property management, insurance agents, public adjusters, plumbers, roofers, realtors

  • Proven Track Record: 3+ years of boots-on-the-ground sales in restoration, construction, or a closely related industry

  • Autonomy: Self-directed, disciplined, accountable, attention to details

  • CRM experience

  • Able to close and convert leads to jobs
  • Able to put us as a preferred vendor with other businesses quickly

Must be comfortable being held to the following KPIs/requirements:

  • 8 ~12 in person, highly qualified, strategic meetings per day.
  • Minimum of 5 qualified opportunities/leads per week, regardless of seasonality

  • 100% CRM discipline
  • Setting up lunch and learns, monthly counter days, and attending weekly networking groups

  • Forecasting & Reporting: Provide weekly pipeline updates and monthly revenue forecasts based on field data.

  • Must be comfortable working in a small startup and growing the business.

  • Referral Partner Scorecard: Track each partner, the number of jobs and revenue they bring

  • Territory Ownership: Primary territory includes The Woodlands, Tomball, Spring, Cypress, Jersey Village, Humble, The Heights, Galleria, River Oaks, Houston, and surrounding areas. You are in the field—at job sites, offices, lunches, and industry events.

  • Clean background & drug test

Our compensation model is designed to reward performance, create long‐term stability, and align you directly with company growth.

Starting Package: A competitive base salary plus a high, uncapped commission rate on all revenue you generate.

Performance-Based Base Growth: As you consistently hit revenue milestones, your base salary automatically increases.

This gives you greater financial security while preserving your upside.

Accelerated Earnings: When you exceed our annual revenue target, your commission rate increases on all revenue above that threshold.

Top performers routinely earn $150K–$200K+ in this model.

Quarterly Growth Review: Every quarter, we review your trailing revenue to ensure your compensation tier matches your performance. Strong performance locks in your current tier; temporary dips simply pause progression until your trailing revenue recovers. This keeps your earnings aligned with your results while ensuring you always have a clear path upward.
