Clinical Laboratory Scientist – Generalist (Blood Bank Preferred)

📍 Carmel Hamlet, NY | 🕐 Variable shifts between 6:00 AM – 11:30 PM | 💼 13 weeks, 37.5 hours/week guaranteed

We’re looking for an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist who enjoys working across multiple disciplines in the lab and takes pride in delivering accurate, reliable results that support patient care. If you’re a skilled Generalist with solid Blood Bank experience, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine and complex testing in all major lab areas.
• Validate, interpret, and report results with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively with other lab professionals to maintain quality standards and turnaround times.
• Contribute to a positive team culture that values precision, efficiency, and continuous learning.

Schedule

• 8-hour variable shifts (day and evening) between 6:00 AM – 11:30 PM
• Guaranteed 37.5 hours per week
• Includes a 30-minute unpaid meal break
• No on-call required

What You’ll Bring

• Current NYS Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (required)
• 3+ years of experience as a Generalist Medical Technologist
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Generalist role
• Proven Blood Bank expertise
