Join a dynamic team dedicated to developing functional assays on primary immune cells and tumor cells to explore combinatory therapeutics in vaccine and oncology research. The role focuses on evaluating immunogenicity of targets to support cancer vaccine development and assessing potential immunogenicity risks of therapeutic proteins.
Responsibilities
- Independently develop and execute primary human immune cell functional assays.
- Perform co-culture assays involving immune cells and tumor cells.
- Conduct in vitro cell engineering, characterization, and functional assays, including TCR engineering.
- Analyze data through flow cytometry to characterize human immune cells.
- Perform data analysis, troubleshoot experiments, and record results in an electronic notebook.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to achieve shared project goals.
Essential Skills
- PhD with 5+ years postdoctoral or industrial experience, an MS with 8+ years, or a BS with 10+ years of experience in immunology, vaccine research, cancer biology, or related field.
- Proficiency in T Cell Assays or Co-Culture assays.
- Strong skills in flow cytometry.
- 5+ years experience in developing primary human cell-based in vitro/ex vivo functional assays.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in flow cytometry analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with vaccine research and cancer biology.
Work Environment
The role is based in a laboratory and vivarium environment, requiring onsite presence five days a week. You will be part of the Vaccine Immune Cell team within Vaccine Technology. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
