Are you a hands-on leader who takes pride in building high‑quality products and guiding a team to success? We’re looking for a Lead Assembler to help drive production of industry‑leading Life Fitness gym equipment. In this role, you’ll combine your mechanical expertise with your leadership skills to keep our assembly operations running smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, support, and motivate a team of assemblers while actively participating in daily assembly work
- Assemble Life Fitness gym equipment following established procedures and quality standards
- Coordinate day‑to‑day production activities to keep the assembly line on schedule
- Communicate with internal departments and report daily production metrics
- Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation
- Move equipment using manual and electric pallet jacks
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team
What You Bring
- Mechanical assembly experience and confidence using hand, air, and electric tools
- At least 2 years of assembly experience, plus leadership or supervisory experience
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and drawings
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Comfort working independently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Basic computer skills (email, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, climb ladders, and use tools throughout the shift

Your Work Environment
Our modern manufacturing facility is bright, organized, and built for collaboration. We operate in assembly pods of 3–4 people, and you’ll be cross‑trained across multiple pods to build a variety of machines. While the facility is not air‑conditioned, skylights and an efficient layout help maintain a productive workspace. Teamwork, communication, and craftsmanship are at the heart of what we do.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.25 - $24.00/hr.
