Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support school-based services in Brockton, MA. This contract position focuses on delivering essential therapy services within an educational setting, primarily serving students who require specialized OT interventions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing Occupational Therapy services tailored to student needs during the Extended School Year (ESY) from July 8 to August 9
- Delivering therapy sessions Wednesday mornings, with potential additional days as the 2024/2025 school year schedule is finalized (anticipated 3 days per week)
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assessing student progress and modifying therapy approaches to support academic and functional goals
- Maintaining thorough documentation and complying with school policies and regulatory standards
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience working in school environments with pediatric populations
- Ability to manage caseload, provide direct and consultative services, and communicate effectively with school staff and parents
- Flexibility to accommodate evolving schedules and caseload needs
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to student-centered care
