Bilingual EHS Manager – Manufacturing
Location: Carson, CA
Join a growing food production company seeking a Bilingual EHS Manager (Spanish/English) to drive safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily EHS programs and ensure regulatory compliance
- Track safety metrics; maintain OSHA logs and SDS
- Conduct GEMBA walks, audits, and employee training
- Manage workers’ comp cases; coordinate with clinics/TPAs
- Lead Safety Committee meetings and support emergency response
- Oversee PPE and environmental programs (hazmat, stormwater, wastewater)
Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish/English (required)
- 3+ years of industrial safety experience or Associate degree in EHS
- Manufacturing/food environment preferred
- Knowledge of environmental permits and compliance a must
- ASP certification is a plus
- First Aid, CPR/AED, Bloodborne Pathogens certifications
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams skills
- Able to prioritize, work independently, and support multiple shifts/weekends
Work Environment
- Manufacturing setting; exposure to heat, cold, noise, and wet conditions
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
