Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity exists for skilled candidates to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational setting located in Lees Summit, MO. This role focuses on addressing a diverse range of communication needs, ensuring that each student receives the necessary support to thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Valid MO Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Clinical Certificate (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in a school setting
- Proficiency in teletherapy practices
- Familiarity with various disabilities, including Speech Impairment and Non-Speaking Autism
- Strong case management skills
Location:
- Lees Summit, MO (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to implement effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
- Manage a caseload of 46 service students and 13 case-managed students
- Deliver both direct and indirect services as outlined in IEPs
