Job DescriptionWhat You’ll Do
- Schedule and register patients via phone and email
- Collect and verify insurance information and referral forms
- Counsel patients on financial assistance options and billing processes
- Communicate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate urgent or referred appointments
- Call patients with appointment reminders and follow up on missing documentation
- Process internal physician referrals for clinical care
- Assist with insurance-related questions and basic account maintenance
- Support scheduling operations, including sending reminder cards and updating provider templates
- Work within patient reminder systems and make necessary scheduling adjustments
Tools You’ll Use
- Epic Systems for patient scheduling and registration
- Microsoft Office Suite for communication and documentation
- Internal scheduling and reminder platforms
What You Bring
- Experience with Epic or similar healthcare systems
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of insurance processes and financial assistance options
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical support setting
- Familiarity with third-party payers and billing inquiries
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.00/hr.
