RAMP AGENT
A. Qualification Standards. Must meet the applicable Company and regulatory
requirements and be qualified through experience, education, and in accordance
with other qualification standards set forth by the General Manager of Seaplane
Operations.
B. Line of Authority. Reports to the Ramp Lead.
C. Duties & Responsibilities
1. Promotes and fosters a safe and secure working and operating environment,
Leadership commitment, and the promotion of safety as a core value of the company.
2. Obligated to learn all pertinent information and operating procedures relevant
to the position.
3. Fuels aircraft, completes fuel quality checks, and follows all fueling procedures.
4. Pumps floats as required.
5. Assists Flight Crewmembers in loading and unloading passengers.
6. Responsible for collection, loading, unloading and delivering of baggage.
7. Assists Captain in starting of aircraft.
8. Responsible for tying and untying of aircraft from dock.
9. Cleans dock area, including trash removal.
10. Responsible for recovering and discarding debris and other Foreign Object
Debris (FOD) that could damage the aircraft, propellers, or people.
11. Accountable for passenger safety on the ramp and dock area, security on the
docks, and employee safety.
12. Other required duties as assigned by station management team members
