How You’ll Make an Impact

The Quality Engineering Associate I will have a detailed knowledge of outside processing purchase orders, shipping packslip, and work orders with a dedication to being part of a world class manufacturing team.

What you’ll be doing as a Quality Engineering Associate I:

  • Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Fife, WA location.
  • Review outside processing purchase orders, check and record spec rev levels
  • Review/ Sign shipping pack slips and ensure customer required shipping documents are included with the shipment.
  • Review and approve of raw material purchase orders.
  • Assist in Creating Certificate of Conformance Records.
  • Review and stamp newly released work orders
  • Assign and log serial numbers (for serialized parts)
  • Assist in Managing measuring tool calibration including maintenance of required records
  • Assist in Maintaining scrap log (final disposition of scrap parts)
  • Assist in Managing the final closing of completed work orders, scans the paper copy to the network
  • Assist in a variety of Document Control functions.
  • Assist in Managing the filing of records.
  • Assists in the implementation, and administration of other QA and company activities including: risk management, configuration control, training, auditing, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and preventative actions.
  • Adheres to all workplace safety guidelines, policies, and laws determined by the company, state, and federal authorities
  • Performs a variety of other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience):

  • Works independently, follows instructions, can concentrate for long periods of time and is able to tolerate multiple interruptions throughout the day
  • Able to take and successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, as well as reasonable suspicion, and post-accident drug and alcohol tests
  • Team player with a can-do attitude

Preferred Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience):

  • Two years experience in aerospace industry quality related roles
  • Proficiency in QMS and AS9100 requirements required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and MRP systems required

  • Access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.

Work Environment:

A large percentage of work time is spent in a machine shop where temperatures vary from hot to cold. The environment may also include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc. Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The Quality Engineering Associate I Compensation range for onsite Washington applicants is $20-23/hour commensurate with experience. Some shifts may include shift differential pay rates. Other site ranges may differ.
