Hours: 6.5 hours/day, 32.5 hours/week
Pay Range: $40$55 per hour

Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated Educational American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter for an onsite position supporting a middle school student near the Poulsbo, WA area. This is a full school year, in-person role with consistent weekly hours.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct ASL interpretation services for a middle school student in a classroom setting

• Facilitate munication between student, teachers, peers, and staff

• Support academic engagement and access to instruction

• Collaborate with educational team members to support student success

• Adhere to all ethical and professional standards of interpreting in educational settings

Requirements:

• Valid EIPA score of 4.0 or higher with passing EIPA Written test

• Experience working in a K12 setting, preferably with middle school students

• Strong understanding of educational terminology and classroom protocols

• Ability to work onsite for the full duration of the school year

• Clear background check and eligibility to work in schools
