As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting various types of inspections including appearance, dimensional, and assembly inspections. You will follow specific inspection standards for plastics, hardware, and PCBs, and perform hardness tests using appropriate tools. Additionally, you will inspect and approve labels, packaging materials, and perform AQL inspections.
Responsibilities
- Conduct appearance inspections according to general and project-specific standards.
- Perform dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Execute hardness testing on materials with hardness requirements.
- Simulate physical assembly for indirect inspection using boxes and cartons.
- Inspect and approve labels, boxes, code dates, and packaging materials.
- Place non-conforming materials and products on hold and release to MRB.
- Perform AQL inspections.
Essential Skills
- Experience in PCB, blueprint, circuit board, and quality control.
- Proficiency in mechanical inspection, cabling, surface mount, and PCB assembly.
- Knowledge of IPC-610 standards.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an IQA Inspector in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic math and computer skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
