The Caturus platform was founded by Kimmeridge, an alternative asset manager focused on the energy sector, with subsequent additional investment by Mubadala Energy. Caturus is building an independent, fully integrated natural gas and LNG export platform in the U.S. through a combination of its upstream operations and Commonwealth LNG, a 9.5 Mtpa LNG export terminal in southwestern Louisiana. Together, they will provide low-cost energy on demand with the lowest carbon footprint.
Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
This position supports our safety mission by administering and optimizing HSE systems, data, and reporting processes across operations. The role is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and effectiveness of HSE data and digital tools, ensuring alignment with corporate safety initiatives and regulatory requirements.

This position will play a key role in strengthening Caturus’ safety culture by supporting data-driven decision-making, improving system functionality, and enabling field and leadership teams with actionable insights. This role will support operations across our assets and will be located in Houston, TX.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the primary administrator for HSE management systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across platforms.
  • Maintain and enhance HSE reporting tools, dashboards, and metrics to support operational and leadership decision-making.
  • Partner with HSE and operations leaders to track and communicate safety performance, trends, and key initiatives.
  • Conduct data analysis and trend identification to support continuous improvement of safety programs and performance.
  • Support incident reporting systems, ensuring timely and accurate entry, tracking, and closure of corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain standardized HSE reports, including regulatory, internal, and leadership reporting requirements.
  • Assist in implementing and optimizing HSE software systems, including system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Provide training and support to employees and field personnel on HSE systems, tools, and reporting processes.
  • Support audit processes by ensuring system data is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting requirements and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot system issues and improve system functionality.
  • Track and monitor HSE KPIs and support initiatives aimed at achieving annual safety performance goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.


Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesEducation, Certificates, and Licenses:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a preference in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (CSP, GSP, or similar) preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in HSE systems, reporting, or analytics required.
  • Oil and gas (upstream) experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with HSE software platforms preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of HSE data management, reporting processes, and safety performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI, Artificial Intelligence or similar reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets with accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, HSE, and IT.
