Nurse Practitioner – MinuteClinic


Schedule: 60–70 hours per 2 weeks | Weekdays 8:30am–7:30pm (1-hr lunch) | Every other weekend


Position Summary

Primary and family care to a panel of patients in collaboration with a dedicated clinical care team. Providers work daily with clinical partners to drive improved patient outcomes through accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, chronic condition management, and disposition planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver primary and family care using evidence-based clinical guidelines
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
  • Manage acute and chronic health conditions and provide preventive care and health counseling
  • Encourage patient engagement in wellness, screenings, behavioral health, and chronic disease management
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans
  • Perform administrative duties including opening/closing clinic, inventory management, patient follow-ups, insurance verification, and payment collection
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant clinical environment
  • Handle patient appointments and routine examinations to support positive health outcomes


Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current National Board Certification
  • Active Missouri APRN license (DEA registration not required in MO)
  • Minimum 1 year recent Primary Care experience as an NP (family medicine or primary care preferred)
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong understanding of quality metrics in chronic disease management
  • Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision
  • Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with healthcare technology and information management systems
  • Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure
  • Ability to collaborate frequently with clinical colleagues in a team-based care model
