Position Summary

The Brand Manager will serve as the strategic and operational leader of the Rival Nutrition brand. This role owns brand strategy, product lifecycle management,

integrated marketing, digital and ecommerce growth, retail support, and consumer engagement. The ideal candidate is equal parts creative marketer, data-driven strategist, and organized project manager with a passion for sports nutrition and consumer brands.

This is a high-visibility role responsible for building brand equity, driving revenue growth, and managing the day-to-day execution that brings the brand to life across all consumer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute the annual brand strategy, positioning, and long-range plans of our new “all Natural” line of nutrition supplements.

Maintain a deep understanding of the target consumer, competitive landscape, category trends, and opportunities.

Lead communication between Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, Creative, and Leadership.

2. Digital Marketing & Performance Growth

Manage all SEO, paid digital marketing, Amazon ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google advertising initiatives.

Establish goals, and tracking methods to evaluate campaign ROI.

Develop customer retention strategies including email, text and loyalty programs.

Oversee Amazon/ecommerce marketplace merchandising, advertising, and growth strategies.

3. Ambassador Marketing

Lead ambassador and athlete partnerships.

Manage outreach, negotiation, content approvals, performance tracking, and relationship management.

Build annual calendars, promotional strategies, and brand storytelling across social platforms.

4. Brand Activation, Events & Sales Support

Own brand presence at consumer tradeshows, industry expos, sampling events, and retail activations.

Collaborate with Sales to support retail programs, in-store materials, product education, and promotional strategies.

Develop marketing assets, campaign toolkits, and content that supports both retail and ecommerce.

5. Budget Management

Manage the full brand and marketing budget including media spend, creative, product development, events, and agency support.

Evaluate ROI and adjust spend based on business goals.

Manage external agency partners as needed (digital, creative, research, PR, etc.).

Experience & Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in brand management, digital marketing, product marketing.

Strong understanding of ecommerce, digital advertising, SEO, and CRM systems. Familiarity of Amazon Seller Central and Shopify a plus.

Experience developing marketing strategies, managing budgets, and partnering with agencies.

Ability to interpret data, consumer insights, and performance metrics to inform decision-making.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Positive, energetic, and capable of seeing both the details and big picture.

Experience in sports nutrition or wellness A PLUS.
