Quality Manager | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee all quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and product release.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
• Manage supplier quality performance through audits and collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Coordinate and conduct internal and external quality audits.
• Analyze quality data and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in implementing and maintaining quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage and develop quality teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
• Experience with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Lead Auditor certification for relevant industry standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485)
• Proven experience in implementing or optimizing an Electronic Quality Management System (EQMS)
