We are seeking a professional and experienced Sales Associate with a background in security to join our team at a high-energy smoke shop. This role requires a confident individual who can adeptly manage challenging customer interactions while excelling in sales and customer service. The ideal candidate will combine patience, reliability, and strong organizational skills with the ability to handle both sales and security responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting clients with product selection and driving sales to meet business goals.
- Confidently manage difficult or disruptive customers, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
- Enforce store policies, including addressing non-compliant individuals and, when necessary, asking customers to leave the premises.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming store environment through vigilant awareness and proactive problem-solving.
- Support inventory management, restocking, and other operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to handle challenging customer interactions.
- Prior sales experience in a retail environment is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional patience, interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Strong situational awareness, reliability, and organizational skills.
- Confidence in engaging customers for both sales and conflict resolution, with no hesitation in enforcing store policies.
