T&N Services and Solutions is a dedicated behavioral health outpatient clinic in Washington, DC, specializing in mental health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment. We are seeking additional Certified Addiction Counselor(s) to join our growing team. As a counselor, you will assist clients and families in the rehabilitation and recovery process from the challenges of dependency, providing evidence-based counseling, support, and resources to promote long-term wellness and sustained recovery.

Position Summary:
The Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) plays a vital role in delivering services to individuals within their caseload, functioning as a key member of our Substance Use Disorder Treatment team. The CAC is responsible for facilitating rehabilitation, psycho-educational, and support groups; serving as the primary SUD counselor for our consumers; and participating in the development and ongoing review of the Plan of Care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate rehabilitation, psycho-educational, and support groups to assist individuals in their recovery journey.
• Serve as the primary SUD Counselor for consumers, building trust and supporting them through their treatment.
• Participate in the development and periodic review of the Plan of Care, collaborating with consumers, their families, and other network members.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation for clinical care and billing, maintaining 100% compliance with standards.
• Provide one-to-one counseling to address individual needs and support recovery goals.
• Engage in ongoing training relevant to the position and for the maintenance of licensure.
• Act as a liaison with the Clinical Site Lead to ensure cohesive and effective treatment planning and delivery.

Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Education: Associate's degree in a health or human services field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certification: Certified Addiction Counselor (CACI or CAC-II) in the District of Columbia. (required)
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in outpatient mental health services for adults.
• Work Environment: Requires both office-based work and community outreach to meet with participants.
• Knowledge of Medicaid billing and documentation requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with individuals, families, and team members.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and quality care to those dealing with substance use disorder challenges.
