Honeyplate is growing—and we’re looking for a skilled Sous Chef to support our kitchen operations as we continue crafting high-quality, scratch-made meals for busy lives.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, values precision and flavor, and believes that food should feel as good as it tastes. You’ll work side-by-side with our Executive Chef and culinary team to prep, cook, and package meals that nourish both body and spirit.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the prep and production of weekly rotating menus
- Help manage cooking stations and ensure smooth kitchen flow
- Execute batch cooking with consistency and care
- Uphold high standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and guide team members when needed
- Jump in wherever needed—this is a team-first kitchen
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–3+ years experience in a professional kitchen
- Strong cooking fundamentals, especially with proteins, grains, and seasonal veg
- Attention to detail and timing
- Respect for efficiency, cleanliness, and proper food handling
- Reliable, communicative, and ready to grow
- Experience with prep kitchens, catering, or high-volume production is a plus
- A passion for good food and good people
