South Denver OB/GYN and Midwives | Castle Rock, CO
Salary Range: $115,000–$145,000 annually

South Denver OB/GYN and Midwives, part of the OnPoint Medical Group Network, is seeking an outstanding Certified Nurse Midwife to join our growing, collaborative team. What You’ll Do

The Certified Nurse Midwife will provide full-scope midwifery care, including independent management of women’s health with a focus on pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, family planning, gynecologic care, and primary care for women.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-informed care throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, and well-woman care.
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, perinatology, and other specialists as clinically indicated.
  • Manage hospital labor assessment and admission, normal and abnormal labor, cervical ripening, induction of labor, postpartum care, and discharge.
  • Perform vaginal births and laceration repairs.
  • Perform limited first-trimester and third-trimester OB ultrasounds as appropriate to training and experience.
  • Serve as first surgical assist for C-sections.
  • Perform IUD and subdermal contraceptive implant insertion and removal.
  • Maintain medical records according to community standards of practice.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, physicians, midwife partners, nursing teams, management, and support staff.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a CNM who brings strong clinical judgment, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine passion for supporting patients through birth and women’s health care.

Required qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nurse-Midwifery or Midwifery.
  • Current CNM certification.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado.
  • Current advanced practice nursing license/recognition for the State of Colorado with prescriptive authority.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
  • Active DEA registration.
  • Board certification.
  • Ability to provide care appropriate to the age and acuity of patients served.
  • Ability to counsel and educate patients and families on complex care issues.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience as a full-scope midwife.
  • Experience serving as C-section first assist.
  • Previous OB ultrasound training or experience.

Work Environment

This role is based in both medical office and hospital settings. The position requires regular standing, use of hands, reaching, talking, and hearing. The employee may occasionally walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The role may require frequently lifting or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving more than 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $115,000–$145,000 annually.

This position will be posted for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended.
