Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Early Intervention Occupational Therapist to provide home-based services to infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years old) and their families. This role focuses on supporting developmental milestones, functional skills, and caregiver education within the child’s natural environment.
This position offers a minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility and room to grow into a full-time role based on availability and caseload.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to children ages birth to 3 in home and community settings
- Conduct developmental evaluations and ongoing assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on family-centered goals
- Educate and coach caregivers on strategies to support development in daily routines
- Collaborate with families, service coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and agency requirements
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development as required
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Current state Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in early intervention and/or pediatrics preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
