Location: Syracuse, NY
Shift: Day Shift – 36 Hours/Week
Duration: 22 Weeks

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Adult Critical Care (ICU) units. The ideal candidate will have strong acute care experience in high-acuity environments, preferably within Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers, and the ability to deliver quality care with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in an Adult ICU setting
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and continuous monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to manage critically ill patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
• Ensure adherence to patient safety and infection control protocols
• Deliver care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York RN License/Registration
• BLS Certification (current or ability to recertify)
• Minimum 1.5–2 years of recent ICU/critical care experience in an acute care setting
• Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Centers
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Experience in large, high-acuity hospital settings

Compensation:

• Local Pay Rate: $2,000 – $2,124 per week
• Travel Pay Rate: $2,600 – $2,800 per week (based on experience)
