Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Preschool Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) for the 2025-2026 school year. The position supports children ages 3 to 5 across Juniata and Mifflin Counties, PA, providing services in various early childhood settings such as local preschools and Head Start programs. This itinerant role offers part-time hoursapproximately three days per week, 21-24 hourswith potential for increased hours over time.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC or CF credential
- Special Education PK-12 educator credential required
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in speech and language development
- Ability to deliver services in-person exclusively, visiting multiple early childhood settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families, caregivers, and educators
Location:This position serves communities in Juniata and Mifflin Counties, Pennsylvania. Worksites vary to include local preschools and early intervention programs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapy to preschool-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements
- Travel to multiple early childhood program sites within the designated counties
