We are seeking a passionate and experienced HR & Operations Manager to play a key role in our growing team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our COO and CEO, overseeing and enhancing both HR and Operations functions. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing effective policies, managing talent acquisition and employee engagement, streamlining operational processes, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company. This role is a hands-on position that combines a variety of HR and Operations responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to multiple facets of the business. On the HR side, you'll take charge of critical tasks such as sourcing candidates through various channels, updating job postings to reflect our hiring needs, conducting pre-screen interviews to identify top talent, and managing key processes like payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations. These tasks will span across teams in the US and abroad, giving you exposure to diverse teams and international HR practices. Additionally, you'll play an integral role in onboarding new employees, ensuring they have a seamless and positive experience as they join our organization.
Operationally, your responsibilities will include managing contracts and vendor relationships, ensuring we work with reliable partners and maintain efficient processes. You'll also support people management initiatives, working closely with team leaders to address operational needs, and helping with administrative tasks to keep the business running smoothly. This will involve everything from coordinating ongoing operational support to proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks in day-to-day activities, and ensuring our vendors get paid.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update job descriptions and job postings
  • Source potential candidates from various online channels in the US and abroad
  • Full cycle recruitment, to including understanding the needs of the hiring manager, and subsequently screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires
  • Work with the hiring managers to understand their needs to effectively shortlist candidates
  • Send (or review) job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits
  • Monitor key HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire
  • Maintain and grow team engagement and morale
  • Build and refine HR best practices for annual reviews & performance feedback
  • Manage and monitor contracts and vendors to ensure compliance, delivery, and renewals appropriately
  • Manage a global team of HR and Operations Professionals


Requirements and Skills

  • 5-7 years proven work experience as an HR Manager or similar role in the technology and/or logistics space
  • Familiarity with modern sourcing techniques and best practices for remote teams
  • 3-5 years experience managing operations or contracts/vendors
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field preferred but not required
  • This individual must live in south Florida, as our US HQ office is in Deerfield Beach, FL with in-person attendance required.
