Pay Details:
- Local: Up to $70/hr (based on experience)
- Travel: Up to $75/hr (based on experience)
- Hours: 37.5 hours/week (facility requirement)
Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The role requires strong telemetry monitoring skills, medical-surgical experience, and the ability to manage complex patient conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to telemetry and monitored patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and patient status
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and clinical treatments
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required
- Assist with conscious sedation procedures when needed
- Monitor vital signs and respond to patient condition changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital protocols
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State
- ADN/ASN required
- Minimum 1 year Medical-Surgical experience
- Minimum 1 year Telemetry experience
- Minimum 2 years IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
- Minimum 2 years conscious sedation experience
- Current BLS (AHA) required
- Current ACLS (AHA) required
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a high-acuity environment
