Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available at an elementary school in Aurora, CO. This contract role is onsite only, starting December 8 and ending May 22. The position is full-time (1.0 FTE) with a caseload of approximately 40 students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and support services to students.
- Consult with teachers and administrators regarding behavioral and learning strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure.
- Experience working in an educational setting with children.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and interventions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
