Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This travel position is based in Williamsburg, VA, serving 9th-12th grade learners with diverse educational needs. The caseload will include approximately 18 students, supported by paraprofessionals to ensure effective instruction and individualized support.

Key responsibilities include developing, writing, and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), collaborating closely with related services staff, and managing the caseload with care and professionalism. Teachers must be comfortable guiding students through their educational goals while adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Virginia teaching license with a Special Education endorsement is required.
• Ability to write and implement IEPs and collaborate with related services staff.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience preferred, ideally in a special education setting.
• Strong organizational, communication, and case management skills to support student progress.
