Key Responsibilities

• Exercise clinical independence in evaluating patients, creating treatment plans, documenting care, and educating patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and oversee specialized therapy services.
• Support student learning as needed and maintain professional licensure.
• Comply with state practice regulations and facility policies, ensuring the safety of both patients and staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program.
• An active physical therapy license in Michigan is required to commence the role.
• A minimum of one year of experience in outpatient physical therapy.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough evaluations, create personalized treatment plans, and document care in accordance with state, federal, and payer standards.
• Willingness to engage in student supervision and pursue ongoing professional development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with outpatient documentation systems, goal setting, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
• Previous experience in mentoring students or working in academic settings.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 5 days a week (5x8).
