JOB TITLE: Mechanical System Design & Analysis Engineer 2
LOCATION: Berkeley, MO
PAY RATE: $48/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:

• Supports the development and documentation of mechanical, fluid, and thermal systems.

• Assists in creating, maintaining, and modifying system designs and proposals to provide clear design documentation and high-level requirements for downstream users and customers.

• Performs detailed design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.

• Contributes to spatial integration at the system or component level, including mechanisms, landing gear, and ordnance systems.

• Prepares technical documents for mechanical components and systems and assists in proposal preparation and new business development efforts.

• Works under general supervision.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a secret clearance

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

• 2+ years of experience in an engineering discipline, or a Master’s degree with related experience

• Degree must be from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry

• Experience with Siemens NX CAD system

• Experience designing flight simulators and aircraft cockpit structures

• Experience designing parts for 3D printing, CNC machining, and waterjet cutting

• Experience designing packaging for electrical systems

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with general fabrication, precision machining, and complex assembly techniques

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
