We are seeking a committed School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ($55-$58/hour) to join our team in the Buckley, WA area. Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree: In Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • WA State SLP License: Required for practice.
  • ESA Certificate: Necessary for educational settings.

Job Details:

  • Employment Dates: 8/26/26 - 6/16/27
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week; 7.5 hours per day
  • Caseload: Up to 48 students, spanning PreK to 12th grade
  • Work Setting: In-person

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage specialized materials and environments essential for the speech and language program.
  • Deliver educational communication interventions for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders in various settings.
  • Evaluate the speech and language abilities of students suspected of having communication disorders and collaborate with teachers to develop IEP goals.
  • Provide resources, model strategies, and offer training to team members on communication interventions.
  • Regularly communicate assessment results and student progress with school staff, parents, and, when appropriate, the students themselves.
