Qualifications:
- Master's Degree: In Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- WA State SLP License: Required for practice.
- ESA Certificate: Necessary for educational settings.
Job Details:
- Employment Dates: 8/26/26 - 6/16/27
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week; 7.5 hours per day
- Caseload: Up to 48 students, spanning PreK to 12th grade
- Work Setting: In-person
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage specialized materials and environments essential for the speech and language program.
- Deliver educational communication interventions for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders in various settings.
- Evaluate the speech and language abilities of students suspected of having communication disorders and collaborate with teachers to develop IEP goals.
- Provide resources, model strategies, and offer training to team members on communication interventions.
- Regularly communicate assessment results and student progress with school staff, parents, and, when appropriate, the students themselves.
