Legacy Talent Search is hiring a Flatbed Assemblers in Vancouver. This company has built an excellent name for itself over the years and has grown to be a leader in its industry. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install flatbed truck bodies, trailers, and custom metal components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure precise assembly.
  • Cut, drill, and fit metal components using hand and power tools.
  • Perform basic MIG welding and tack welding to secure components.
  • Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, and drills, to modify and prepare materials.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Work closely with the welding and fabrication team to complete custom builds on time.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as an assembler, fabricator, or technician in a metal fabrication, truck body, or trailer manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions accurately.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and metal fabrication equipment.
  • Basic MIG welding skills (certification preferred but not required).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience in automotive, truck body, or trailer assembly.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical system installation is a plus.
