Overview
The Junkluggers of Savannah is an eco-friendly junk removal company helping homeowners, businesses, and property managers remove unwanted items responsibly through donation, recycling, and reuse.
This is a physical, customer-facing role. Most team members who succeed here are eligible to drive company trucks, which provides more hours and schedule flexibility.
Non-driving (navigator) roles are limited and based on current business needs.
What Youll Do
- Safely lift, load, transport, and unload customers unwanted items
- Work directly with customers on-site in homes, apartments, and businesses
- Move heavy items (50+ lbs) up and down stairs and through tight spaces
- Represent the company professionally on every job
- Potentially drive and operate a company box truck (no CDL required)
Driving Eligibility (Important)
Operating a company vehicle is subject to insurance approval.
To be eligible to drive, candidates must:
- Have a valid drivers license
- Have no moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
- Pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check
Note: Non-driving (navigator) roles are limited, offer fewer and less predictable hours, and are only available when business needs allow.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Safety-first mindset
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Comfortable driving a box truck if eligible
- Must wear hard-toe shoes on the job
Pay & Perks
- $18$26/hour total earnings (base pay + tips)
