PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading provider of essential supplies and equipment for the most trusted brands in food service, healthcare and hygiene to provide an experienced Accounting Clerk for a temporary position expected to last 12 weeks in Louisville, KY
8:30am – 5pm Mon - Fri $20 per hour
If you possess proven skills in accounting functions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, and can assist with an Inside Sales role, you are encouraged to apply!
Accounts Payable (AP) Job Summary
- Review and verify invoices and check requests
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
- Enter and process invoices in the accounting system
- Schedule and prepare payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are made timely
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor files and records
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Accounts Receivable (AR) Job Summary
- Generate and send customer invoices
- Record and apply payments (checks, ACH, credit card)
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Prepare bank deposits and reconcile accounts
- Communicate with customers regarding account status
- Support month-end closing by reconciling AR transactions
